The widget is the daily door back into Acts. Each mockup below is a WidgetKit small or medium tile in the app's candlelit dialect — the notes say what it pays and when it fires. Real widgets are native Swift (Option B of the TestFlight plan); the daily feast/season content lives here, not in the feed.
Streak flame
smallIncentive: Protects the 1.25× / 1.5× streak multiplier — loss aversion, the strongest daily pull.
Fires: Every morning; turns urgent (flame gutters) if no act by evening.
Pray at noon
smallIncentive: The shared daily moment — one tap = +10, together with the whole parish.
Fires: Counts down to 12:00; one-tap pray straight from the home screen.
Today in the Church
mediumIncentive: The daily feast/season hook (moved off the feed — it lives HERE). Feast days suggest a themed act.
Fires: Daily at dawn; feast days get the saint's emoji + a themed ask.
Grace & level
smallIncentive: The balance always in view — points as a possession you grow (and can spend on saint cards).
Fires: Live; glows when a bonus (photo 2×, streak) is active.
Next saint card
smallIncentive: The collectible pull — a visible countdown to the next card (every 5 completed acts).
Fires: After every completed act; celebrates when a card unlocks.
Needs near you
mediumIncentive: Location pull — real people nearby, each with the reward on its face. Feeds the location loop.
Fires: When near a tagged place (church, hospital, cemetery); GPS is native-phase.
Novena companion
smallIncentive: Nine days of return — the strongest re-open mechanic. Missing a day is felt.
Fires: Daily during a novena, at the hour they usually pray.
Answer one ask
mediumIncentive: One real person, one tap — the smallest possible unit of mercy, always available.
Fires: Rotates a live request every few hours; tap prays without opening the app.
Invite a friend
smallIncentive: The growth loop on the home screen — first invite pays +100.
Fires: After a completed act, while the warmth is fresh.
Sizes match WidgetKit: small ≈ 158pt square · medium ≈ 338×158pt. The one-tap pray from a widget uses the same +10 tap economy as the app (anti-farm guarded), so the home screen never out-pays the app.
